About Hercon

Jeff Herigon, who has a degree in construction engineering from Central Missouri State University, founded Hercon Construction in 2002. Prior to that, he was a construction manager for the University of Missouri, where he oversaw construction of numerous projects, including:
- $5 million OB/GYN clinic and birthing center renovation at University Hospitals and Clinics
- $8 million ER and radiology suite for University Hospitals and Clinics
- State-of-the-art pressbox at Faurot Field
- $13 million dollar expansion of MU football facilities
- Stadium Boulevard fence and major renovation of two football practice fields for the MU Athletic Department
Before returning to his native mid-Missouri, Jeff was a project manager for J.E. Dunn Construction in Kansas City. Major projects for that company included:
- $100 million building program for Salina, Kansas, public schools
- $65 million project at North Kansas City Hospital
- $20 million project at Truman Medical Center
Working as a superintendent and estimator for Ryland Group in Atlanta, Jeff gained extensive experience in new home construction, overseeing large developments in the communities of Duluth, Dunwoody, Marietta, and Roswell, Georgia.
